There's a line (at the end of the second paragraph) under 'PSIONIC SKILLS' (PG p. 126) that says "Because psions are more attuned to psionic energy, they do not receive any benefit from their Willpower during psionic tests."

For the most part (three of the four listed Psionic Skills), that's true. But for the one defensive one - Mind Shield - it's not.

It says under Mind Shield (p. 127) that "You may add half your Willpower reaction level (rounding up) to your roll."

This contradicts that earlier statement. For that first statement to be accurate, it should read "Because psions are more attuned to psionic energy, they do not receive any benefit from their Willpower during psionic tests (except when using Mind Shield)."

I don't see anything in any of the errata that addresses this; anybody have any thoughts?
