The Eav'oq - Aliens from one of the books

Taken from the DS9 Novel Rising Son, I was looking for a picture of one of the Alien species, a mysterious and enigmatic species called the Eav'oq.

They are described as;

The Eav'oq are tall, their bodies are tube-like and they have long slender tentacle-like limbs of a willowy pink color. Their soft grey faces feature a single eye which can move to express emotion much like the mouths of most humanoids.

So featuring the key words; 'Alien', 'Tentacle' and 'Cyclops'



Can't fault it, its exactly what I described, but not what I wanted at all... Is anyone's google fu better?

I can't find my copy of "Barlow's Guide to Extraterrestrials", but I think there was one octopoid with tentacles. Can't remember any eyes on it.

hmmm. Googling; 'Tentacled aliens'...

A bit closer, but a tad short... And too much St. Bernard!

oooo. I think I have found something... What do you reckon?

What do you all think?


My thinking is that they are going to be a telepathic species, somewhat inscrutable, and my next difficulty will be to balance that out into an ICON alien template.
