John Eaves Concept an Attack Vessel

John Eaves Concept of a smaller Attack Vessel that has the looks of a cross between the Sovereign- and Akira-class star ships. I discovered this ship scrolling through the images one day on Bing. I spent some time thinking about how it should be armed, shielded, propelled and its size. I decided that it should be more like the Sovereign than the Akira-class. I chose the ships size of seven so that it can be formable in a fight with some reduction in crew size and number of torpedoes carries in the ship.

If we were not happy with our present starship I would work this ship into the mix as the next vessel that we would be serving on. The ship would make a great starship for a patrol or defense. The weapons and shields are superior to many Starfleet vessels of its size. Thought the ship is capable of carrying out many of the same missions that the Sovereign-, Nebula- and Galaxy-Class is capable.

Notes: Much of the design of the John Eaves Concept A-class Attack Cruiser is much like the Sovereign-class in its appearance. I personally down rated the warp nacelles and sustainable max warp speeds as well as the torpedo launchers do not fire as many torpedoes in a single shot. I generated up a version with the following addition to the ship, Ablative Armor: 500 <100>. In addition to the armor the ship can handle an additional 50 torpedoes carried.
