Hmmm...I've been here on and off for three days...

I am just able to access the site after about three days of nothing as well. Glad to see it is up still.

A couple of the guys on the Facebook list for Beyond the Final Frontier noted this as well -- they couldn't get to the "landing" page, but they were able to go directly to the forums. Since I never use the landing page, I don't know if there was something up with it.
There's a direct link to the forums on the BTFF site, and some people were using that to successfully get to the forums in spite of the front page issues.

That is correct. I was Scotty inspired when the front page wouldn't load for a couple of days, and used the BTFF direct-forum link to circumvent it.
If I was clever, I would have just bookmarked the second link...
Anyhoo, glad to see the loading page or whatever is back up.
Crimson Hand Gamers...why have your own site when there's Facebook?
Ah, that explains it. I never come through the front door - I always use the "recent" tab in Chrome and just come straight to the forums.

A subsystem for the website gave up. No easy fix for it, so I installed a new server and migrated over the website.
So just rerouting the grav thruster, rechrystalin the warp core, and make a level 4 diagnostic on the transporters. Just a normal day down at Engineering.
There will be some more things to fix, as the current solution is just a temporary one.
The only question remains: Did you get Wesley to help you with it?

It's good the site is still around
I had poblems reaching the forums as well, as I was one of the few, that actually used the landing page each and every time.
Once more praise for the good advice of using the Link Patrick provides over at his resources page that still led here.
On a serious note. To make sure everything is working as it should, and to clean out stale dependencies between applications, I will at some point move the forum as well to the temporary site. That will mean a bit of downtime while moving the forum.
