While revising my conversion tables to cover Prime Directive, I realised the need for a new skill: Reconaissance. This and a new Specialisation in Planetside Survival - Orienteering -, I think it covers a gaping hole in the skills
I would be tempted to make Reconaissance a specialisation of Planetary Tactics rather than as a skill in its own right...
I like Orienteering as Planet Survival specialisation too...

Recon could work as a skill with Specialiazations in Tactical, Street, Urban, Rual and Wilderness; usefull for more than combat needs.

I like the 2 Ideas, but I incline it to be a a speczilization of the Tactical skill.
What you think about adding the Investigating skill from the CODA system as a new skill??
Ardet Nec Consumitur' / Burns but doesn't decay / Brandt maar vergaat niet.
Investigating is already covered in the Security Skill group isn't? Perhaps not, now that I thing about it; I recall someone once suggesting adding "Gather Information" from another RPG to compensate for a lack of "Investigating" as a Specialization.
In my Consolidated Skills List for ICON I've added Stealth (Camouflage), however, someone suggesting adding it as a Specialization of the Disguise Skill group. I've also added Craft (Blacksmith; Mason; Machinist). What about adding (Planetary Survival (Foraging)? I'm kind of leaning towards ruling that any of the Specializations of Planetary Survival automatically include foraging in that environment, thus no need for its own Specialization.
I am considering moving Bluffing from the Intimidation Skill group to the Charm Skill group; and perhaps doing the same with the Cross Examination Specialization (these two Specializations seem so much more harmless than the other Specializatins of the Intimidation Skill group I have a hard time including them in it).

I tend to assume that Crime Scene Investigation is a specialty of security bolstered by appropriate science and social skills.
