    Character Conversions to ICON Revisited

I've done a thorough update and expansion to my Character Conversion pages, with attention to CODA and the various iterations of Prime Directive and example skill conversions.

    Enjoy!

Sorry, I forgot to post a direct link to the page: http://www.coldnorth.com/owen/game/s...e/convert0.htm

    It's under Star Trek Systems.

It's largely reverse-engineered from Don's ICON to CODA document, but any mistakes are mine. Comments would be appreciated so I can do some tweaking.

I know that at one point Doug Burke was talking to me about a FASA to CODA conversion he was working on. I wonder if he's looked at this so that he could comment on it.

    Wink

    Owen, this is fabulous !

I'm working on converting the TNG characters from ICON to CODA for Patrick, and you've given me something to check my work against. I have to say your bang-on here.

ICON / 7 = CODA / 15. That works out, exactly, to what I have for Lt. Commander Data. And ICON / 6 = CODA 14 is perfect for how I've rated one of my own PCs that I've converted into both systems from FASA.
