    Klingon Estate

    In our last adventure we needed a Klingon Estate to visit and have struck by weapons from orbit. The Estate is located on a Class M world a little more than a week’s (9 days) travel from the Klingon home world on a transport. There are several transports that leave every nine hours and arrive every nine hours from the home world. There is transports coming and going at all hours of the day and night from the spaceport. This planet is important enough to have a small squadron of ships assigned to guard the planet from the house of Chang who are the family that are the most influential in the area.

    Notes: This Estate is located on one hundred square acres of land. With a wall surrounding the outside of the estate is three meters tall and a meter wide. The grounds are covered with manicured lawns and trees plus a few out buildings and training grounds. Some estates have a smaller barracks housing thirty of the houses loyal Klingons.

    The ground floor has an entrance foyer with the house crest and the house has a parlor, sitting room, den/office, dining room, kitchen, security office, and a great hall and a family room.

    The upper floor has bed rooms and holodecks with private studies with the large rooms.

    Lower level has a large storage and living quarters for the servants and the office for security. There is a pair of security cells in the corner of the lower level.

    Creation Notes: We needed a Klingon estate for our characters to visit. I imagined a house much like the Terra Estate from Gone with the wind.

    Seems like a cool idea ... but why post what look like ICON-system stats in the CODA-system forum?

    I do not know how or why the posting was placed here. I was looking around the site before I posted it. I thought that I was in Spacedock when I logged in to post the Estate. I am glad that you like it. If I knew how to move it to Spacedock I would have.

    The detail of the Spacedock/Icon ship stat blocks is amazing. I've only ever played CODA trek so I have no basis of comparison, but how have you found using the Spacedock stats has been (time-wise) in your ICON trek sessions? It seems to me that it would be more time-intensive due to the more complicated stats, but that may be entirely due to my lack of familiarity with the system.

    I think a moderator would be the only method of moving your post.

    Very nice estate there, and nicely creative use of Spacedock to create it.

    Have you thought about using the Spacedock system to create other structures on a planet? I.e. a hospital, a garrison, walls, defensive points, prison, Las Vegas hotel, etc?
