    Artificial Borg Planet

    Artificial Borg Planet

With our latest confrontation with the Borg, the need for an artificial planet being constructed by the Borg was the target. The Borg were constructing a planet where it could strike deep in the alpha and Beta Quadrants. It would have been easier for the Borg to assimilate one of the nearby planets than build their own planet.

There is no scale to generate a planet. So diameter equals the size and the space station rules are part of the planet. Then the SU’s are unlimited.

The decks are layers like an onion.

For a Borg planet would it be better to just use GM's decision? Or have specific critical systems that have to be taken out, either RPG style or concentrating fire from multiple ships (like in First Contact)?

It is impressive, but after a certain point it just got to be too much.

If there were any combat reports against it, or just observations of it in action (i.e. vs 8472) that could help.

The Borg was not exactly the Borg you see in the series. They were a splinter faction and needed to build a station in a spacific area of space. It was hinted at that the station was started by some one else.

It went boom as well as anything else.
