I will move the forums over to another server this Sunday (July 28th) as I need to reinstall this machine to solve some problems.
The actual move will probably take a couple of hours, but it can take a few hours more (up to 24 hours for some, but that is uncommon) until the DNS information is updated for everyone.

Unfortunately, the main reason for the downtime was just a partial success. The registration has been down for a while. The server move means that the subsystems needed works as intended.
As a result, we were flooded by spammers. So I have currently shut down the option to register, while looking into options.
