    Ann Crispin, 1950-2013

Ann C. Crispin, author of Yesterday's Son and Sarek, among many others, has died of cancer at the age of 63. I never met her, but from what I've seen and heard, she was a dynamite lady, extremely kind to and open with her fans. We don't really have enough writers like that, and she'll be sorely missed.

I enjoyed many of her Trek novels. A sad day.

Just last wek I saw a link to a blog entry that mentioned she was posting for the last time on Facebook. Didn't realise she was even ill till I saw that. A really sad day, I rate her ST novels amongst my favorites.

Condolences to her family and friends.
