And with the pics being on tripod at the moment you'll get a "dead link" warning if you just click on them. Try copy/pasting to a new window and they should come up

Concerning the Darkwind.jpg:

It's "explanations," "preparation," "bring," "captain," "war weary," and "its."

Gotta watch that editorial shit.

It's also pretty cool. Nicely done.

Question

Sorry - just tried to open the links in a new window, and all I got was a Tripod message saying that the file is not available for download...any other tips?

Am I the only one who finds it odd that these post-Dominion War Trek officers are wearing uniforms that haven't been seen since TNG (in the case Taggert, the first season of TNG!)

Now now... 1. he doesn't profess to be a fashion designer, and 2. We're not his nitpickers.

I will agree though, even for Starfleet, that's an adventurously high skirt.

Regarding the ship, I'd first wonder why they never made more of a deal about finding out what happened (with ever tng neutral zone infraction crying war all the time). Until of course I remembered that it got lost in Romulan space. That usually means we're lucky they're not at war with us.

Did you do what the 2nd message said and open a NEW window and CUT/PASTE the links into it?

The only reason I can think of is the obvious one: The artist liked them better. I can appreciate that myself. Skirts are good, okay skirts on Female Officers are good, the Male Officer in a skirt was kind of scary.

Of course , the best uniforms were Movie-Era, following which I have a curious affection for the Pike-Era uniforms and the decent late-TNG era uniforms seen here. I have often contemplated making my Trek Campaign Movie-Era just for the better Uniforms.

But I digress...

Neat pics, I look forward to seeing more DanielK!

I'm sorry, but in my opinion, the first decent uniforms were the DS9 style uniforms, the branch color tops over a black uniform, with the grey collar. In fact, my my Star Trek Sentinel campaign, I adapted that to a slightly different look. =)

I should post a pic I did of the Chief Engineer, S'Tel (a Vulcan). But, I digress...

Fair enough. I was simply pointing out mistakes that detract from what's a very cool-looking piece of work. I had no intention of offending you.

2: Your not my english teacher.
No, I'm not... but, in my opinion, your attitude is unnecessarily defensive.

You're posting something in a public forum. This implies that you want feedback. You received some: I praised the picture; and I critiqued the spelling and punctuation, which detracts from your impressive artistic achievement. A few simple corrections would rectify that, and make your work that much neater.

And it's, "You're not my English teacher," actually.

I should again stress the fact that I really liked your pic, and that the corrections were simply given to make the entire work that much better.

There was no intention to offend. Considering I just irritated mactavish on another thread, I suppose I'll just go away for a while, now.

Again, the pictures are nicely done. I like them a lot.

I guess not. Although, I am now very curious as to why doing it that way works, but I can't get it to work when I right-click on the link, and select "Open link in new window".
