My condolences on your loss. (I lost my grandmother and father-in-law within a month earlier this year.) Take those memories that are special and treasure them always.
I really feel what you must be going through, I lost my father some time ago, and it still catches up with me every now and then.
My email is always open, feel free to drop a line to caht any time, it is the least I can do. Same for anyone else. I may not be a counselor, but I have strong ears.
I, too, am sorry for your loss. He sounds like an interesting guy.
I am fortunate to still have my parents, though they have lost theirs, granting me slightly more than an intellectual understanding of the loss.
Frankly, the knowledge that I will soon lose my parents frightens me, and I feel for anyone who can't have the amount of denial I do.
Be well, sir.
My condolences and sympathy, Don.
There is an Irish proverb that says that, "The difference between a wealthy man and a rich man is that the people at a wealthy man's wake drink because the whiskey is free and they can. The people at a Rich man's wake drink because they need to."
Your father must have been a rich man indeed, because just from the brief description of his life, I feel poorer for not having known him.
I would feel honored to raise a cup in his name, sir.
