Not much I can add except for my heartfelt condolences. It sounds like he had a life to remember. Whenever I'm at a funeral for a lost loved one, I find I'm actually mourning for us, the survivors who have to go on without that person who so touched our lives.
When one loses a relative, particularly a parent, it is a devastating blow. Our thoughts and well-wishes go out to you and to your family in this sad time.
I don't have answers for what happens after a lifeforce passes on after this existance... no one really does. But whatever happens, I'm sure he's on the winning end of the options. Oeace be with you. Jolan tru. Live long and prosper.

My condolences on your recent loss Don, I have no way to even imagine what this is like for you. I called my Dad this morning to tell him I love him. My thoughts are with you and your family.
This is rather hard for me to do, as I lost my father a year ago. The pain still lingers, but for the most part you remember all the good times that happened when you were together. My thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time.
