I did a search here on the forum and couldn't find any hard data on these vessels, has any one attempted to quantify this powerful vessels and write them up as per Space Dock? I have seen the average Borg cube (5Km on a side) written up (Space Dock Ship Recognition Manual page 151) but never seen a Bioship written up.
I don’t usually post every request but here is Species 8472’s ships that I have generated at one time a few years back. I thought they had been posted once upon a time.

These are notes that I generated for Babylon 5 and Battlestar Galactica. They Cover what is not part of Spacedock when it comes to living ships.
BIOLOGICAL SHIPS
SU’s Cost: 100 x size
Power cost: None
The Vorlon and Shadow vessels are biological starships that are capable of independent living and decisions. As per the Babylon 5 Ship Builder’s Manual and Ships of the Galaxy I used the method in the shadow and Vorlon ships. When attacking the vessels half the inflicted damage goes to the Biomass with the exception of damage to armor. When the Biomass is go the ship is no longer a living entity.
Where as for Shadow and Vorlon technology, the material is generated with a predetermined designs and structures of the ship allowing the growth of the weapons and all other systems. Using the materials to grow the ship in a living vessel. The ships will grows at a rate of one to two SU’s per day as long as materials are supplied to sustain the growth. A Shadow Cruiser would take three to six years to create a ship. This creation methods allow for fleets of ships grown in secret and await the moment to be called to duty. The genetic materials are placed deep under the surface of planet’s surface and allowed to grow naturally.
Final Note: In generating these vessels for Babylon five took some liberties were taken in the design but I attempted to stay true to their concepts. I think the vessels work well in the Spacedock format even though there are some with weapons that are far too heavy for battle in the Star Trek realm.
Bio-Alloy (Cylon)
Bio-Alloy is a material that is grown and it tougher than the standard hull of a starship hull. A Bio-Alloy cost 2 x size in SU’s of space and gives an automatic bonus of +2 Resistances to the outer hull of a ship. Few species have mastered the art of growing a starship hull around or inside the premade starship hull.
It takes three days for the Bio-alloy to strengthen the hull of the ship. The ship is out of commission during the bio-alloy to repair the ships.
A Bio-Alloy hull is far more difficult to scan through a difficulty of plus two to a scan. Thought the biggest disadvantage is that the hull requires a minor circulatory system and will re-grow damaged portions of the hull as strong as before. Any Bio-Alloy can regenerate 10% of its total damage ever day. If the power system is damaged, this cannot occur, however. When applied to the hull of a conventionally constructed starship, whether on the inside or outside it grows into the existing metal and makes it stronger. This works even better for the older ships that have begun to show weakness or previous damage. (With the use of these growths, the inner and outer hulls must be generated as well.)
Note: this is the material that the crew of the Galactica use to fix the stress damage to the forty-year-old warship. The bio-alloy is similar to that the skin of the Shadow and Vorlon vessels in the Babylon 5.
the biggest thing for me would be the contention over the weapon systems, as in the damage they are capable of. In the episodes the regular BioShip could destroy a Borg cube in as little as a few shots(1-3 hits), as per Space Dock Ship Recognition Manual the typical cube (5km on a side) had Class 7 shield generators (Protection 1400 and 2100 with a 50% increase if extra power is fed into the system and Threhold of 450) so if the Undine Biogenic Directed energy weapons effected shields as normal they would have to do in the region of 1500 points of damage per shot.(enough to overwhelm the threshold by a significant amount and collapse the shields completely in on shot[if they weren't powered up to 2100], allowing the 2nd or third shot to destroy the Cube). Yet Voyager survived a single hit from a BioShip, though I think they said they wouldn't survive another hit.
I personally think that Space Dock didn't do the Cube justice as far as their stat's go, unless you had transphasic torpedoes you were basically screwed if facing even a single Cube, but by the write up the Cube wasn't that more powerful then say the Enterprise-E (Sovereign class).
Yet at Wolf 359 a single Cube destroyed 39 Federation vessels, all they had to do is say 10 of them each fire a full spread of torpedoes for 1 round and then the next round another 10 vessels fire another full spread (that's like 100 torpedoes at minimum per salvo), the shields would be down in one rnd, and the Cube destroyed the next (and that's not taking into account the phaser fire or other special ordinance (Tricobalt devices etc, not unprecedented for random Federation vessels to carry these powerful explosives, Voyager had two when going after the Marque for example) I understand they said in Space Dock just because you can say fire a spread of 10 torpedoes Federation captains rarely did (game mechanics and balance I am assuming) but when facing a foe as formidable as the Borg the kid gloves come off and you unleash the full potential of your tactical systems.
