A new Borg cube for earlier than TNG adventures

    A Borg Vessel

One of our 23rd century Federation starships ran across a Borg vessel that was parked in high orbit of a small Gas Planet. For this I needed a Borg Cube that was a littler reduced in capabilities and fire power without reducing it too much. This vessel is circa 2299. Much of the vessel is the same a mid 24th century Borg cube.

Being that this is Borg Vessel I kept the vessel in the Next Generation Technology instead of the Original Series version of the tech. These Vessels are far superior to that of the Original Series vessels and can obliterate them even more easily.

To destroy the Borg vessel the Federation starship an Excelsior Class used a small fleet of cargo ships that were carrying antimatter detonating them in a Gas Giant resulting an explosion that vaporized the solar system. The Captain had access to the records that left by Starfleet Captain Jonathan Archer of the Starship Enterprise NX-01.

This was to throw the players a curve ball that made them think even harder than they had too during a regular game where their enemies were of the same fighting skills.

During the course of dealing with the cube there came the usual suggestions use the ship to ram the cube, call for assistant and/or ram the cube. Then there came the idea to use the cargo ships to plunge into the atmosphere of gas giant and release the antimatter cargo and allow the resulting explosion should destroy the cube.

I'd be keen on seeing this is standard ICON stats. I am not so good with the Spacedock design protocols, and would frankly prefer to stick to the basics, but this cube is definitely something that I'd consider using in a late 22nd- or early 23rd-century Series.

Our country's past progress has been the result, not of the mass mind applying average intelligence to the problems of the day, but of the brilliance and dedication of wise individuals who applied their wisdom to advance the freedom and the material well-being of all of our people.

I don't think there would be much of a differance in ICON that there is in Spacedock. I would drop the ICON version in Voyager Sourcebook by 10% per item.
