    Temporal Incursion Cannon

this is my take on the Temporal Incursion Cannon

A massive, powerful cannon was developed by the Krenim, but used by other extremely advanced races (Federation after 28th century)

    SU 200
    range 10/30000/150000/400000km
    Arc 360 degree's
    Accuracy 3/4/5/6
    Damage spec
    Pwr/shot 400

    * this cannon creates temporal incursions which erase the target from time. A temporal shock wave, from it's use, spreads through out the galaxy causing whatever corresponding changes resulting from the erasing of the target. Temporal shields offer protection from this weapon and anything inside a active temporal shield are isolated from the changes.

A vessel must have a temporal core(warp or transwarp core modified), Quantum computer cores, temporal shields and temporal sensors fitted if they want to have a Temporal Incursion Cannon.

these are among the most powerful weapons developed by any culture, and are capable of untold damage with the ability to change the face of a galactic time line.

Wave Man, the term "wave man" is the English translation of 'Ronin' (Japanese word) and literately translates to "wandering person" and in a modern context a WaveMan is one who is socially adrift or a SalaryMan who is between employers.

In the last Vampire: the Masquerade supplement, Gehenna, one of the scenarios involves all the Antediluvian vampires showing up and duking it out, sometimes in the presence of the PCs. Of course, you may ask, how did that work mechanically? And they answered it with a sidebar describing a new, heretofore unseen level of all Disciplines: •••••*••••• Plot Device.

I suggest that the Krenim weapon is in the same category; something you don't want to hand to players if you don't want them to suddenly be playing a different kind of game than a regular Star Trek game. How many SUs is Q?

TTK I absolutely agree mate, players should NEVER get their hands on such weapons of mass destruction, they are plot devices usable only by a narrator (or writer). I tried to quantify them because I found the idea of such weapons interesting and it tied in with my Khan Ascendant scenario.

That being said the Borg Mutikinetic Neutronic Mine is another example of such plot devices, it could effect a 5 ly radius area, or destroy ANYTHING in an entire solar system and it is written up in Space Dock.
