Cutlass-class Destroyer (saber-class refit)

I really like the Saber-class vessel (as stated in another thread) and as below I thought I could make it "better". The Cutlass is now a front line combat vessel, though with enough auxiliary systems to expand her mission profiles significantly. The Cutlass class is intended to be able to fulfill missions that would normally be assigned to a Defiant class. The Cutlass class is also one of the first Destroyers to be fielded. (new Federation Destroyer classification, a heavily armed/armoured Light Cruiser)

as per Space Dock Federation recognition manual at the bottom of the description of the Saber
"some ASDB officers have suggested that with the addition of ablative armour, heavier armament (including pulse cannons) and stronger shields (plus a correspondingly more powerful M/AM reactor for the necessary power) the Saber-class (renamed the Cutlass) would become a powerful front line fighting vessel." The Cutlass is the result.

The Cutlass-class is designed for rapid response, front line combat duties. These vessels are capable of sustaining a cruising velocity of warp 9.8. The other design parameters were also fully met, ablative armour was fitted, weapons systems upgraded (type XII pulse cannon added, forward torpedo launcher uprated to high yield and forward torpedo's all uprated to quantum), shields modified to metaphasic and regenerative, M/AM reactor's drastically increased, an EMH MkII added, computer cores uprated to bio-neural and science systems increased. Lessons learned from the Defiant project were corrected with Cutlass, and unlike the Defiant-class vessels the Cutlass is capable of realizing it's engine's potential. They are also capable of a broader mission profile then the Defiant. The only advantage the Defiant class has is her cloaking device. The Cutlass simply doesn't have the room for one in any case.
