This is inspired by both the New Star Trek Movies’ Red Matter used by the renegade Romulans and the Godzilla vs. Megaguirus movies Black Hole Weapon. I thought that they both would make interesting weapons. I drew up ideas for the both of these weapons.
Artificial Black Hole Singularity Missile Weapon
SU’s cost: Requires a High Yield Launcher 1 projectile per SU for storage
Power cost: nothing beyond the standard launcher costs.
The black hole weapon creates an artificial black hole for thirty rounds with all the pull of a real black hole and can crush a starship caught in the hole is either drawn in or instantly crushed by the forces. The Black Hole has a pull that can draw a starship within several MU’s with near warp speed velocities and drops one .1c every Mu’s distance from the center point of detonation. Any ship caught in the black holes gravity is pulled in and if the ship is capable of resisting for the duration of the pull it sustains substantial damage to the hull and systems. Do to the gravitational forces that the Artificial Black Hole creates warp fields fail to form and Warp speed is not an option for at least one hundred MU’s during the holes existence. Once the hole had collapsed the subspace field returns to normal all but the immediate five MU’s of the holes existence.
However if the Artificial Black Hole Weapon is fired at a particularly unstable sun the detonation of the Artificial Black Hole causes the collapse of the sun and created a real Black Hole that will follow the laws of nature. See my notes on Black holes.
Only one Artificial Black Hole Weapon can be launched in a single launcher nevertheless the twin launchers such as those on an Intrepid Class can launch one from each launcher. Once launched the projectile travels 25 MU’s before detonation and the Artificial Black Hole begins to form. During this formation the subspace fields doubling the difficulty of entering warp speeds.

Artificial Black Hole Singularity Energy Weapon
SU’s cost: 100 SU’s for the weapon itself
Power cost: 100 power per shot
Designed to generate an Artificial Black Hole Singularity and firing it along a confinement beam at whatever target is along that trajectory. The Artificial Black Hole Singularity is a localized event that once it comes in contact with a ship’s hull or planet’s surface begins to consume its power per round in SU’s till the ship or planet is consumed. The weapon ignores the shield threshold and hull resistances and consumes the shields just as the shields. This is a weapon that requires the weapon system to cool down after shot and that requires a down time of one hour (720 rounds) and this makes the weapon a shoot and scoot away weapon.
As an example the weapon used against a Galaxy Class starship would take thirty one rounds to consume the ship and twelve to eighteen for the shields. The slow digestion of the ship would allow some if not the majority of the crew evacuate.
The weapon still requires the targeting and has little firing arc and can only fire in standard modes. The weapons affects only objects within the same MU and requires impulse engines with .75c or better proficiencies. No ship can form a stable warp field for several MU’s of the detonation point.
Artificial Black Hole Singularity Energy Weapon <102>
Type Artificial Black Hole Singularity Energy Weapon
Damage: 100 per round [100 Power]
Number of Emitters: (up to 1 shots per every 720 rounds)
Targeting Systems: Class Beta (Accuracy 4/5/7/10)
Range: 5/10,000/30,000/100,000
Location: Bow mounted
Firing arc: 20 degrees
Firing Modes: Standard
These two weapons do not leave any debris to foul the space lanes. Both weapons leave a subspace residual that sensors can detect easily with standard sensors from a long range. Most notably is the disruptions in the local gravity fields.

The optional version to this weapon is that once in contact with the target it doubled in damage per round. So it strikes the target at 100 damage then next round would be two hundred, then the next and on and on. With this I would use the Threshold and resistances. A galaxy class with full shields would last no more than six rounds. I would say that it is better the above way.

Use freely they are serious weapons to install on any ship. One makes more sense than the other but that is the way things are.
I personally like the Energy based weapon system than the torpedo weapon, however I would have to admit that the Torpedo based weapon makes more sense if it was to use Red Matter. These can be used in all series Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Andromeda, Farscape and of course Star Trek. This weapon is different than the Quantum Singularity Cannon that the Magog world ships uses.
