    D5 Class Klingon Ship

Does anyone have an ICON stats for this old ship?

I am looking to utilize it as a Klingon freighter, retired from front line service, in the mid 24th century.

Bernd Schneider has a writeup on the D5 at http://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/sc...ngon_ships.htm - in it he notes that a display mentions a length of 75 feet, which he says appears too small. Perhaps it would better be 75 metres? That would still make it a small ship, but more reasonably sized, over three time the length of a Danube class runabout.

if you look carefully on the link at the 'D-5 master systems status' length is listed as 75m, width is 50m (very blurry so could be wrong with the width)

Wave Man, the term "wave man" is the English translation of 'Ronin' (Japanese word) and literately translates to "wandering person" and in a modern context a WaveMan is one who is socially adrift or a SalaryMan who is between employers.

Meteo's stats are useable, except that he got the disruptor type wrong (a disruptor doing 12 poits damage would be a Type VI (6), not a Type IV (4)0, and even the BoP can fire in all directions, so the Arcs should be listed as All (720 degrees). Measuring from Drex-Files 5-views, rendered from the original screen-used CGI files; based on a length of 75.0m, the beam is 70.6m and the draught is 20.4m. Crew is likely only about 36 or so, rather than Meteo's 84, and for the freighter version would likely not exceed 24.

    Thanks guys.
I am looking at the tanker variant, as a freighter/"booty" ship for Klingon raiders. Not really as a ship to see direct combat, but if the two D12s can't handle the PC's ship (which now has stealth sheathing and heavy bulkheads) then I will definitely use this ship as backup (something is better than nothing right?).

I was going by the TOS Icon Corebook. That's where the Type IV Disruptor Came From. Saw the Crew Count somewhere else, around 7-9 years ago.

Obviously a typo in the book.

Don't take every bit of fan speculation you find on the Web to heart. Otherwise, a fine effort.
