Regula Science station

One of the Iconic Space Stations that I have seen reused in the Star Trek Universe has been the Regula Space Station seen in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan but had been generated out of the orbital construction office in Star Trek I: The Motion Picture and it has been used in The Next Generation and even one episode of Voyager. Here is the version that we have used in several different episodes where it had been redressed from a science station to a military orbital prison to and alien outpost. I have listed the changes like I have done with the Excelsior class evolution to show the differences that I made.

Notes: There are several version a few of them are the armed versions of the weapons with another version adding in the surveillance systems for the spy station that could also be used as a deep space studies facilities. The nice thing there is plenty of SU’s left over for additions to the station that can make a big difference.

Notes: This would be a series of Space stations located in orbit of a planet with overlapping fields of phaser fire that can cover another station. These stations would be costly to place in orbit of every planet but as part of a satalite system they could handle so much.

Notes: Starfleet has dozens of these stations located all over the Federation where they came in handy during the Dominion War to act as forward aid stations for the wounded from the battle lines. We used this one during the Dominion War when the battle lines had shifted and needed evacuation before the Dominion forces arrive and destroy the station.

I like the stations size as a small station. The Starfleet Special Orbital Starship Construction and Repair Station as a regular for the repair of the Miranda class Starship used in the TNG era in one of our on going games.
