    Sub-light Combat vessel

    This Sub-light style combat vessel lacks the speed and combat capabilities of many vessels, such as the Constitution and Galaxy Class starships. This is a generic variant that was encountered by the Starship Discovery (a Nebula Class Cruiser) that was investigating an anomaly in their Long-Range sensor scans of the local star. The combat vessels took up a strategic position around the ship.

    Notes:
    The modification with the warp nacelles for a warp capable starship would be a Mark1 or 1.2 with the lowest PIS setting as it is the races first warp capable starship. Below is what I had in mind and would use it whether or not in the TOS or TNG Era’s as is with the ship travels without change. The TNG Era I would allow the ship to travel at warp of the era without making a change to the ship.

    These changes would be additions to what there is already on the ship as an add on to the ship as it is a sufficient platform for their first test. There would be a 22 crew increase to the ship by giving the ships standing cabins SU’s cost their full due in cabins. That would be twenty spartan and basic.

    Well this little ship has popped up in several different adventures where it was either a sub warp vessel or a warp capable ship with a warp engine no faster than a Mark 1.2B2 <13 SU,s> 1.25/3.0/3.5 warp speeds. This little ship has been allied and enemy sometimes both in the same adventure. I have even given it embedded nacelles to make a little difference in the ships appearance but this is the base version.

    I like it Omega, a great entry level pre/post warp vessel write up. The one thing that I would question is the quarters, IMHO anything other then spartan or basic is a little out of step with the flavor of the build.

    One would think so but I could have made it mostly barracks and only a quarter being cabins for the officers. I could see this like the NX-class being the start of a new line of starships for the species.
