I was coming for a quick chat but no show.

Missed the chatcall, but words fail me right now. My first image on the TV this morning was the second jet hitting the WTC. I was floored....
On the plus side, my friends that live in the NYC area have all checked in and are ok.
And the Death toll continues to rise!
Those poor emergency personnel

Unbelievible. Something very very drastic HAS to be done. This has got to stop. The death toll might be over 20,000.
Maybe much more!!!
Unbelievible. I am in shock.
I was looking for a chat if anyone's around?

As a senator from New York just said, it is because they run towards tragedy, instead of away.<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by SIR SIG:

I think the image we should all try to retain from this is New Yorkers (you know, those callous, uncaring New Yorkers), waiting in line for hours to give blood.

You're a Starfleet Officer. "Weird" is part of the job.
And I thought that most of the casualties would be at the Trade Towers.
It appears that over 800 are belived dead at the Pentagon

from what I have seen , I am expecting a bodycount in NYC to top 10,000 dead
a whole lot of people were still in the buildings when they collapsed, and hundreds were in the area around the base and were hit by debris, last I heard 150+ NYC firemen are still missing
