Quad nacelle variant of the Excelsior Class

I saw a Quad nacelle variant of the Excelsior Class that is a version of a studio prototype that was designed for the Excelsior during Star Trek III The Search For Spock. I had made this up some time last year as a ship we intended to place a crew on for an adventure.

I thought that I would share it with you. So here it is I never gave it a name. It is mostly the same as the Excelsior class nevertheless there is a few changes. It was constructed using my spacedock add-on notes.

I just thought of this this morning when I got up that I forgot to say that if you want it to be like the ship that is in the image just add twenty meters to either side making the beam 237.64 meters to make it the ship in the image.

Oh, does anyone have a good name for the class I thought of Pegasus but that didn't feel right.

To avoid multiplying entities, I've been mentally assigning the unseen class names from the Encyclopedia to some of the Excelsior test models that have shown up on-screen. This one I've been thinking of as the 'real' Apollo-class.

The only Apollo class that I could find on a quick search was over at shipschmatics.net and this is the link. There was a couple with a nebula class look with a saucer that looked like the Ambassador class that is pretty cool in appearance as I am a Nebula class fan.

This is the Apollo class that I found.

This version is like Vulcan vessel the Romulan’s had pilfered in unification part one and two.

The biggest problem is there is not one opinion on what ship is which out there except maybe the cannon ships but then there are detail differences here and there. I usually go by Ex-Astris-Scientia.org as my base line of ship and supplement with ditl.org to fill the gaps. When they fail I fill the gaps with my own ships. I would use memory alpha I think it is called but it locks up on my computers.

Well I have to go jewel and I have dinner to go to. I have to were a tie oh goody.

Well, it bugs me that there's a bunch of ships we've seen on-screen several times (the Excelsior test models) but never named, and a bunch of class names lying fallow, so I'd rather just fill both gaps at once than come up with extra designs and extra names. The T'pau filling the Apollo gap instead of the Surak gap just seems silly to me.

I agree, but there is only so much that we can do about it.

One of the other problems is the scaling is wrong to the ship or it is designed far more powerful than what the era should have, eta, eta, eta.
