Maquis Raider
Here is my version of the Maquis Raider.
The Gamma Type Assault Craft, which is the standard configuration and 'base' version, with many variations shown to be operated by various privateers, raiders, pirates [which this ship being a 'small pirate vessel'] is a common vessel utilized by paramilitary types throughout the Alpha and Beta quadrants and is based on modified Federation civilian vessel, the Ma'jel-class freighter/courier.
This class of vessel is among the vessels utilized by The Maquis during their struggles first, with the Cardassians and Federation and later with the Dominion, and because of this association the class has become known as The Maquis Raider. Chakotay was probably the most famous captain of one of these vessels and his vessel the Val Jean (sometimes named the Zola, as was the Maquis practice of changing their vessels names often to confuse their enemies and give the impression that they had more vessels than they actually had) being a common sight in and around the Badlands prior to its abduction by The Caretaker array in 2371.
Gamma Type Assault Craft (based on the Ma'jel class and sometimes known as the Condor class)
commissioned 2348 to at least the late 2370's
This write up represents the Val Jean

Wave Man, the term "wave man" is the English translation of 'Ronin' (Japanese word) and literately translates to "wandering person" and in a modern context a WaveMan is one who is socially adrift or a SalaryMan who is between employers.
