Do you know what I forgot to install in the Star Wars ships? …Repulser Lifters? What are they? What do they do?
Some of my group had dug up some books references and notes about the ships using a tech that I had not put into the Spacedock ships. I read everything they had given me and yes Vagina there is a Repulser Lift Tech in the Star Wars ships.
Repulser lifters, from what I understand it does much like the AG generators that the High Guard ships and such use in the Andromeda, they change the ships weight such as a brick to that of a feather. So an ant can carry the Millennium Falcon when it is operating, well maybe not an ant but you get the idea.
I looked through the main Spacedock book and I could not find anything that referred to such tech in there. If there is, I did not see it.
This is what I generated for Gene Roddenberry’s Andromeda a few years back. It will work just the same.
AG Generators (Artificial-Gravity Field Generators)

A versatile technology, which harnesses exotic matter concentrations to alter and manipulate gravitational fields for various purposes. For example, in a spaceship, artificial gravity is used to reduce effective mass for thrust, to prevent items from being squashed by the ship's acceleration and to allow the crew to operate throughout the ship. Also, when artificial gravity is concentrated on an area outside of the ship (via an Exotic Matter Lens) away from a gravity source (like a planet or sun) it can be used to generate a rip in the fabric of space, allowing the ship to enter/exit the Slipstream (see Slipstream).
With the AG generators active the ship is capable of speeds twice the speed that the ship may achieve at speeds that allow the ship to travel using less the power to achieve speeds.
Forget the jargon but works to allow the ships to rise up several meters or more lightening its weight till it is clear of the surface and engage the main sub light drive and sail clear. I assume that the ships of star trek have such it may be a part of their Impulse or warp drives allowing such the same. This comes into play when a Star Destroyer is parked over the surface of a planet well into the atmosphere and deep in a gravity well of a planet.
Oh! …and it would allow a moon size object to move in space easier than using just engines, such as the Death Star.
This was pointed out to me and I had to give in that I did not have an answer to their point and I could not find an answer in the spacedock books.

I think there is a point where generating new tech it is going to necessitate for me to make a modification to the spacedock SU’s availability for future ships of our games. This is an example of why I have had to create some tech as someone has come up with an idea for an adventure and ask where is this or that and I have to look for it.
