    Auxiliary vessels Battle of Procyon V

    shuttle, shuttle pod, runabout, captain's yacht and Wolverine-class Heavy Space Interception Fighter.

    Inner Hull Trellium-D insulation.
    So as all of these small vessels can safely traverse regions of space like the Delphic Expanse their inner hulls are insulated (lined) with Trellium-D. StarFleet has found a way to make this insulation non-toxic to species such as Vulcan's. Due to this insulation these small vessels are immune to trans-dimensional disturbances as found in the Delphic Expanse. They do not suffer from the atmospheric changes associated with travelling in trans-dimensional space (the internal atmosphere of a vessel taking on an auburn hue and light smears), or the gravimetric waves and lastly, it also protects the crew from any physiological damage.

    Unlike most other 26th century vessels all these small craft utilize a traditional matter/antimatter reactor, rather than the now standard Quantum Induction Cores (QIC). The M/AM core technology has advanced considerably though, when compared to earlier century versions and the plasma they produce is far more uniform and the occurrence of erratic power fluctuations has been dramatically reduced. This is especially important when the vessel is equipped with a QSS or Transwarp drive, as erratic power fluctuations can cause catastrophic failures in either system (often leading to the destruction of the vessel).

    Any of these vessels that have ship regeneration, The ship's computer usually repairs the most critical ship's system first, though the crew can decide in what order damaged system regenerates.

    Shuttle Pod (mid 26th century standard shuttle pod) medium, medium range shuttle.
    *The standard shuttle pod of the mid 26th century. It can sustain warp 6.0 for a week, allowing it to travel to nearby star systems (they are capable of traveling 5ly in 5 days). The overall design of these shuttles hasn't changed in centuries, though their capabilities improve along with technological improvements.
    The Shuttle Pod is designed to be a workhorse shuttle, and built using small/medium spaceframe. It has an impressive array of capabilities despite their small size, such as twin Type-V phasers, a regenerative shield system, and a modest interstellar-capable warp drive.

    Egress in and out of the vessel is via a large split 'hatchback' door mounted aft of the shuttle pod. The bottom part of the hatchback door forms a ramp to ease egress into the vessel.

    These vessels are designed to ferry passengers around a solar system, travel to and from a capital-sized vessel and a planet/other vessel or to travel to a nearby solar system (no more than 5ly). They can transport a small amount of cargo if only the forward section is used for crew (so seating 4 people), allowing the rear compartment to be filled with cargo (no more than 1 mt)

The overall design of these shuttles hasn't changed in centuries, though their capabilities improve along with technological improvements.
    The largest shuttlecraft built to date, the standard shuttlecraft is a behemoth vehicle. It is essentially a “mini-runabout.” It is also a most capable craft, being able to traverse interstellar distances at an appreciable speed, and packing powerful armament.

    Runabout (mid 26th century standard Runabout) multi mission heavy, long range transport.
    *The mid-26th century runabout is the latest in the line of runabouts, outperforming all previous Runabouts produced like the Nile, Danube and Mississippi classes of the previous centuries. These are starships in their own right, carrying their own NCC registration numbers.They are merely enlarged shuttlecraft, using the same basic space frames. Capable of making interstellar journeys, they can travel to a nearby star system (5ly) in 1 day and traverse 20ly in 5 days. The overall design of the shuttle pod, shuttlecraft and runabout hasn't changed in centuries, though their capabilities improve along with technological improvements, and the shuttle and runabout share a very similar spaceframe.
    To expand the Runabouts mission profiles they are outfitted with a multi-mission sensor pod/science package. This makes them capable science vessels. Unlike previous models that had a swappable, reconfigurable omnipod the current Runabout replaces it with their multi-mission sensor pod/science package. This package cannot be reconfigured.

    Captain's Yacht (mid 26th century standard Yacht) Heavy, interstellar transport.


    The Captain's Yacht is a lavish transport vessel, used for ferrying diplomats or other high-position figures about. The Captain's Yacht is based on its own customised enlarged shuttle/runabout space-frame.
    The yacht is equipped with a series of Luxury staterooms used for all high-profile guests. Recreation and Medical facilities are extensive (for a small craft). It is the only completely unarmed craft on board, giving it a much more peaceful feeling to it. Its sole defense is its very powerful shield system, Dispersive Hull and perfected cloaking device. This vessel is set up to ferry up to 24 passengers at a time.
    So as the Yacht can transport personnel in a timely manner they are equipped with a Transwarp Drive system, and have a practical warp speed limit of warp 9.999 and a transwarp speed of 1.22ly/hr.
    Holo-personnel feature heavily on the Yacht, being equipped with all available programs (LMH, LEH, Holo-Sec-personnel, AI processor Avatar, holo-service personnel, holo-butler, holo maid)

    Wolverine-class Heavy Space Interception Fighter.

    The standard mid 26th century Heavy Space Interception Fighter, which is sometimes referred to as a Fast Attack Ship by threat species. These ships are built with the same design principles and mission profiles in mind as the the Klingon Brakt-class FAS or Dominion Attack Ship. This type of vessel is similar to a heavily armed Fast-Frigate or Fast-Courier. In many ways they are simply larger, more powerful Fighters. They are designed to fit in larger capital-sized flight decks that have been built to suit their larger space frames.
    Its combination of speed, maneuverability and advanced tactical systems allows these vessels to excel at their primary mission profile. These vessels can be either be carried aboard larger capital carrier ships or make their own way to the battlefield.

    Despite their relatively small size these vessels are very powerful and capable of causing significant damage to even capital-sized vessels.
    The Wolverine-class Heavy Space Interception Fighter is specifically designed as a combat vessel and are very spartan, almost every one of their all systems are directed towards allowing them to excel in battle.

    Wolverine-class, This class was named for the Earth Mustelidae Gulo Gulo, the glutinous glutton or wolverine. This ferocious, carnivores mustelidae is renowned for its fearlessness, ferocity and strength, out of proportion to its size, with the documented ability to kill prey many times larger than itself.
