As we all know Transphasic torpedoes were a 'plot device' used in Voyager episode End Game and I have used them in many of my write ups (particularly recently with my Sphere Builders War, Battle of Procyon V write ups) and was wondering on what the forums thought's are (as in how would you quantify them in SpaceDock)?

here's what Memory Alpha says
http://memory-alpha.wikia.com/wiki/Transphasic_torpedo

I have written them up as
Transphasic torpedo (high yield launcher required) (dam 1000), they are the same size as normal torpedoes for storage purposes.

the problem is they seem to supposed to have shield ignoring ability (why they were so effective against the Borg), plus the seem to act like the gravimetric torpedo written up on page 146 Spacedock, which use an explosion to create intense gravimetric fields that tear the target apart through strain as much as detonation. The Gravimetric torpedo does the same damage as a type II photon torpedo (200 dam) but deflector shields only offer half Protection when used against them.

I did find this thread discussing them but it seemed unresolved for me.

I have to ask as well, what are Hellfire torpedoes? Never heard of them mentioned in Star Trek as far as I can remember.
