    flint and steel

    I have recently fascinated by the ancient craft of flint and steel fire craft, and have started to collect a sizable amount of of flint and steel kits (which is my way) and love drawing the spark from the steel and stone. I also love passing on this skill to my two sons.

    Here are some of the kits I have bought

    probably one of the most unusual one, and the most modern ones Blackthorne-USA titanium striker


    a couple of OliveMead strikers, I added the flints, and as flint doesn't occur in Australia very often I have to buy it
