History-
The K-38 Heavy Escort, was insanely designed by the Daredevils Kogh, Kursaal, Kasomia, and Kleem, Zantais of the Houses of Reshtarc, Subaiesh, Septaric and Limmrii, as a larger defense ship that would make offense strikes at Enemy Ships and Stations. 26 were built at Kozenko Design Bureau before production was switched to the D-32, L-42, and D-26 Classes, being surprisingly well-armed despite it and it's designers being somewhat flawed, and hated by two-thirds of the High Council.

The Class gets it's name from the poem of the Warrior Korg, who took out three hundred Barbarians, fifty-five Romulans and forty HurQ' at the pond of Hurn, soon renamed to "Bloodletter Pond".

The Class's most prominent member of the I.K.S Su'Teng'qoS, launched in 2282, 2 years after the Prototype I.K.S Pondblood under the command of Kriar'toth Sutai Drexa, went on a campaign of mad ship and small base destruction in Federation Space in the General War, making two raids looting and destroying two Kzinti Destroyers in 2288, and returning to Ty'Gokor for an Honor Ceremony and Celebration in 2290, Kriar'toh was promoted to Admiral, turning the ship over to his Helmsman and 2nd in Command, Koth Tai Drexa, who commanded the ship on minor attacks on Federation and Orion shipping from 2290-2340, then taking the ship to it's celebrated retirement.

The Class continued to be used for Offense/Defense roles, before all were either destroyed or stored at Ty'Gokor in the mid-2350s.
