    History:
Named for the ships in Magellan's Historic Voyage of 1518-1521, the Victoria-Class ships have NAR Registries, and each took one month to build, having small, but devoted crews, decent warp engines for the 0Xe period, landing capability, two shuttlecraft in a small bay, a small cargo bay, 4 adjacent, modular labs, and bunkrooms, with only the Captain and XO having their own cabins, both of whom also double for other major officer positions. The ships were built at Copernicus Shipyards, on Earth's Moon, the first that shipyard ever produced, and were in service until the S.S. Victoria was retired and went into the Starfleet Museum on February 21st, 2270.

    Ships Commissioned:

    S.S. Victoria, NAR-601, Decommissioned 2270
S.S. Trinidad, NAR-602, Scrapped after getting badly damaged by Nausicaans 2265
S.S. Concepcion, NAR-603, Destroyed by two Klingon K-17 Scouts 2254
S.S. San Antonio, NAR-604, Captured by Orions 2253, Destroyed by the U.S.S. Art Bell 2263

    Background behind the Ship's Creation:
This was a reboot of an old design I made in late 2002, of a small, early 23rd Century Scout made that had 5 units named after Magellan's ships. When I read of Size 1-3 ships needing nutrient paste in Pre-TOS and TOS rather than Food Processers, I suddenly decided to redo the ship. I made the ship Size 2 instead of 3, but goingstrictly by the upper limits of Size 2, we're left with a ship half the length of the TOS Enterprise's saucer, but only about as wide as the TOS Bridge, leaving you with a skinny, narrow grey-white whippet of a ship.

So, rather than a "whippet", I decided to make a nice, plump, but still small ship with the same length and width, and use something I drew almost entirely from scratch for one of the 4.X versions of the Shipkit: the main hull of the ship.

I also liked the Mark 3B Warp Nacelles, so I used them, making for a nice, fast, but still primitive scout ship.
