History:
The Al'Gahazon-Class, named for the Seer of Dreams and Discoveries from some Moslems
in a remote Triangle Colony, became a new Destroyer to replace the aging Destroyers
of Saladin and Larson Classes built by New New Aberdeen Shipyards, or purchased
from the Federation, became a relatively cheap and robust ship, almost always used
in squadrons, and a favorite for convoy escort duties. 21 were built, with Registries
DD-79 to DD-99, all at New New Aberdeen, and nearly all were crewed by Scots, although
one, the USS Gnarr, DD-85, was crewed by Tellarites, the last going into the New New
Aberdeen Starflight Museum in 2330.
