History:
The Daltion-Class, named for a Department of Defense guy who wrote a great book, and worked in the 21st Century, when World War III went on, was hot on the heels of the Ambassador- and Envoy-Classes, being a further refinement of 2Xl, due to 2Xl systems like TWarp being rare ans slow to produce, focus was put on making the Class far more durable.
The Daltion-Class was produced at Sol VI, 30 Eridani A, and Morena at a combined rate of 3-4 per year, and aspects (both visual and functional) of past and future starships could be easily observed in it, the ships withdrawn of service in 2396.
