I have remade the Virayllan-class so many times that I have never been fully satisfied. In the latest design that I have generated it is a smal powerful starship. Though it was seen in two episodes of the Next Generation and one of Deep Space Nine as a Mirador ship I several sizes of the ship. this is the size that I like as it is small and fast for a ship with just enough punch to put a crimp into a Galaxy class starship if catching it just right.
In this particular design I have gave it an optional Cloaking device. The ship doesn’t need it but whit a cloaking device the other systems are dropped ff the register.
Like the Defiant this vessel is overpowered for its size. I liked it for the ship fits the era just right as a smuggling ship and attack ship for a pirating fleet. Other than that, the ship is just a fancy raider. Much of what I have done with ship came out of a issue of Beyond the final frontier a Coda fan magazine.
Someday I hope to make a ship that I like out of a coda version and my imagination.
