    History-
The Walkerfield-Class was in service 2350-2390, and built at San Francisco Fleet Yards, Puget Sound, Bath Rhodium, and Vickers at a combined rate of 4 per year, designed to be a larger, quad-nacelle ship that would do well at both combat and exploration, and routinely travel at Warp 9 or 9.2 with no problems. They were among the earliest ships to have Holodecks (Walkerfields carried 4 aboard on average), and full replicaters, as they are normally thought of, in 2360s terms.

    ### Laboratory Facilities on the Walkerfield-Class:

The Walkerfield-Class 4-Nacelled Light Cruiser is designed with various scientific and research capabilities to support a range of missions, including exploration, scientific study, and medical assistance. It typically features:

    - **Three Main Laboratories**:
    1. **Science Lab**: Focused on general scientific research, analyzing samples from different planetary atmospheres, geological studies, and experiments in various fields like biology, physics, and chemistry.
    2. **Medical Lab**: Equipped for medical research, this facility allows for advanced treatment and study of medical anomalies, conducting experiments on biological agents, and storing medical supplies and equipment.
    3. **Engineering Lab**: Used for testing and developing new technologies and engineering solutions, especially for shipboard systems and upgrades.

    - **Specialized Laboratories**:
The class may also include specialized labs as needed for specific missions, such as:
    - **Xenobiology Lab**: For studying alien lifeforms and ecosystems.
    - **Astrophysics Lab**: Dedicated to studying celestial phenomena, including astronomy and space weather.

Overall, the Walkerfield-Class can accommodate **3 to 5 dedicated laboratory spaces**, with the ability for further modular or temporary lab setups depending on mission requirements. This versatility supports its role not only as a light cruiser but also as a platform for scientific investigation and engagement.

    History-
By 2340, the Abbe class was over 60 years old, and many vessels were being considered for retirement. Refitting of the of the popular vessel was believed to be excessively costly, and the 21 active Abbes, now relegated to secondary fleet duty, were scheduled for retirement within 10 years. The original designers at Biraktes quickly fielded a proposal to upgrade and modernize the aged destroyers. While designers claimed they could refit the vessels for 1/4 of the initial upgrade proposal, many in Fleet procurement were skeptical. None the less, the Abbe class was scheduled to refit, and in 2342, the first vessel was recommissioned. Although outward appearances were unchanged, internally, the Abbe class was a new vessel. An isolinear computer replaced the “M” series computer, which allowed radical improvement to nearly every onboard system. A more powerful impulse drive was installed, as was a stronger shield system. But the improved primary phasers quickly became the standard for other destroyer upgrades. The new FNH-9 nearly doubled the overall firepower of the primary phasers. The Abbe class could now easily engage most known enemy vessels with a high degree of survivability.

    History-
The Tokiyama-Class, like the Nebula-, Paladin- and Enjyo-Classes, was meant to be more modular, utilizing interchangable pods, and to supplant older 1X/2X ships with newer 3X ships. They were built at San Francisco Fleet Yards, Sol V and Sol VI at a combined rate of 7-9 per year, and most were destroyed agianst the Dominion and Borg in the 2370s.

    Technical Specifications
