Always desiring to push an (newly) established set of rules to the limit, but does anyone have any ideas of how the "mulitvector assault mode" mentioned in the VOY episode "Message in a Bottle" would work in the Spacedock design system?
We do know that Prometheus had a multitude of holoemitters, capable of Warp 9.9, regenerative shielding, and ablative armor. The multivector assault mode in the Prometheus provided the ability to spilt into three navigationally independent operational vessels.
Thats about it for canon (Star Trek Encyclopedia, Updated/Revised) unless someone can provide othe hard info.
