Just out of curiousity, why the 'Goblin-class' Tug? It dosen't seem the kind of name StarFleet would give to a tug ... maybe its just me.

If you look at the names given to tug classes in PoF, Hogan & Piper, then Goblin doesn't seem too odd.
I had the Goblin-class originally envisaged as a typical tug: squat, tough & ugly. The name Goblin thus fitted its appearance, but when writing out the description I decided to change the appearance to a slender, graceful design totally out of odds with the Goblin's capabilities, sort of like the Fluttering Petal heavy fighter in Renegade Legion: Interceptor.
