Okay you got me there Dan. I'd meant to say crashed 4 million years ago. And the volcanic eruption woke them all up in 1984.

Though talking about dinobots, what got me is that the last dinosaurs died out 65 millions years ago.

The Ark definately saw living dinosaurs in the comic. The cartoon was based on skeletons though.

Since 1984 when the Ark crashed into Mt StHiliary, there lives were constantly involved with the Autobots both in the Cartoons and the Comics. Albeit not as long in the comic ast the cartoon but...

And in the cartoon the Autobots started doing things with the Government and Military forces of the US.

If you followed the 12 part Generation 2 comic. Then you see Spike and Fortress Maximus sacrifice themself and the Ark to save Earth and be rid of Megatron and Starscream.

    Wink

    Actually double S:
    Quote from 'Markatron':
"The "battle saucer" is based on the Defiant Class vessel but with a very powerful shield generator. The Titan humanoid form can use the battle saucer as a shield. In either mode, the Titan connects with and can direct energy to the battle saucer to reinforce the saucers protection capabilities."

    Cool

You're right S.S., they are cool drawing. I'd even recommend his other site, Sister City (should be a link somewhere's on 'Mark's' page)
That one's cool 'cause it all female transfromers, and again; very cool art.
    Check it out...

    Cool

    Maybe;
But I think it's more likely cables, wires, or power-cords ("I just washed my trans-links, and can't do a thing with them!" )

By the way, Transformers do exist! I saw Optimus Prime at DragonCon. Whoever made this costume did a fantastic job. If anyone wants to see it, e-mail me and I'll send you a copy of the picture.

    Lightbulb RE:ICON Transformers

Actually, there are two or three systems out there that have this thing, right up their alley. I know this is about ICON and shifting it to cover tansformers, but you might want to take a look at Big Eyes, Small Mouth. It's a Generic Anime RPG, that allows almost all of what you are describing.

    Smile Let's see...

Well; I had heard about the BESM thing, and Gurps (cuase I sent it ), how about Mekton Z ?(http://www.meta-earth.com/tf/)WEG D6/Star Wars rules?(http://sac.uky.edu/~elclin0/contents.htm)

Point is: enough rules, get out there, smash some Decipticon, kick some 'Pred'-tail, and rip some Go-bots a new one...I like the last one best.
...and that's about the time it hit the fan...

    Truisms I know:
    1) Marvel is NOT better than DC (nor should EVERYTHING be ‘ULTIMITED’),
    2) D20 is NOT the best gaming system out there (nor should EVERYTHING be ‘crammed’ into it),
    3) And No matter how ‘THEY’ dress it up, Regardless of how ‘THEY’ title it, and even if ‘THEY’ say “BASED ON…”; “ENTERPRISE” IS NOT STAR TREK!!!
    4) 'Reality' T.V. ain't 'Real'

BESM is a good little system that with some tweaking would work fine.

Mekton and its variations lends itself better since it already has mecha in it plus appropriate rules.

Actually, BESM has rules for Mecha. In a suppliment called Big Robots Cool Starships. It's also included in second edition main book. But it does need a tweak for scale difference.
