    Talking Southern Seas Class

    Well almost finished my first ship (will post within a few days: ironing out bugs).

    The main question up front is this; I'm working on an intermediary ship between an Oberth an a Nova.

    The problem, Oberth being an old ship with upgrades can do wp 9.2 while Nova which is quite new is maxed out at Wp 8.

    Certainly Science ships don't need to be fast but considering the time difference...?

    Other then that the Southern Seas Class is basically a modern navies Hydrographic vessel in Trek as a research/lab vessel heavy on scientific study.

    DESCRIPTION AND NOTES
    The Southern Seas class is a direct advancement between the Oberth and Nova classes, developed around the early 2350's. Akin to a ancient Earth navy's Hydrographic vessel, this class specialises in space and planetary sciences. A sub class of this vessel is scheduled for the early 2360's known as Northern Seas class, which will be a highly specialised surveyor vessel.
    <concept design unknown at present>

    DEVELOPER'S NOTES
    I felt the need for another science vessel which bridges the gap between the Oberth and Nova although they are slightly different classifications.

    Beware this is my first ship and may (probably will) have faults, please comment.
