Finally got mine!

Yes, thanks to that wonderful Canadian, AslanC, I've finally got my mitts of Spacedock and the Federation SRM. They came in last night.

After a cursory viewing (It was late and I was tired), all I can say is... whoa. I'm going to have to add more memory to my cortical arrays just to deal with all the information in these books!

Just one question: Since the SRM wasn't illustrated, I was wondering... is there any chance at all of us ever being able to see the LUG gang's ideas of what-all these ships (especially the ones not seen on-screen) actually looked like? Or are they already out there somewhere, and I just need to look for them?

Well, the "LUG gang" has no idea, since I'm the only one who created those descriptions or envisioned them.

I wouldn't object to working with an artist who wanted to illo them, provided he or she could tolerate my nit-pickiness, but so far no one's come forward to offer their services in this regard.

Steve, what about working with the gang over at 3d Gladiators or Sci-Fi Art.com?

They tend to help out gamers on a regular basis with renders that are top shelf.

Maybe some great 5 views, with one 3d Angle view would be exactly what the SRMs need?

Wouldn't hurt to ask, the worst they can do is say no.

I would have to insist thought that we see at least the top, side and front views so we can get a look at the ship. I really was annoyed when the ships published in Way of Dera and Price of Freedom(?) had only side and then 2 top views.

I mean we gotta know whatthese bads boys look like coming right at you!
