    Smile Ship Design Help Needed

    Hey there everyone, my players have moved into a new ship in the campaign and at first we were gonna go Intrepid, but we all decided that she kinda looks like poo

    So I have decided to have one of the Intrepid prototypes be renamed, upgraded and pressed into service. Here she is;

    http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?...nce=0&res=high

    And another angle on her;

    http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?...nce=0&res=high

    So I may have the nacleels turned the other way. Oh and the obvioulsy would move as well, like on Voyager. She is almost the same as the Intrepid class in every aspect, though with the info recieved by telemetry from Voyager, she would be upgraded to include as many non-Borg systems as possible.

    Same general size, deck and crew count.

    She is a one-of-a-kind ship, there will never be another one built by Starfleet like her

    Anyone want to take a stab at this?

    Question

    What exactly do you want? Stats, or opinoins. If you whant stats how do you want them, Spacedock or standard? I have already made stats for more that 80 diffrent starships between the two systems. Never bassed on the Intreped Class as I don't like it, but I am willing to give it a shot. I would need all the info on what you expect the ship to be able to do.
    If you are looking for comments on the matter my first is use the Exelcior class. But baring that I think the models are sweet. I like them so much more than the standard Intreped. Very cool.

    an idea to this is just use the Intrepid Stats.. explain that the ship was a Prototype to test a new Warp field Geometry, only the field offered no significent change in performance. Hence why she's one of a kind.. no improvement over the basic Intrepid makeup no loss of performance either. Not Latinum effective to change her hence they wont..

    I made stats for one of the intrepid prototype designs in LUG-Basic format.

    You can see it at

    Please excuse the crappy layout. NBCi keeps getting my pages messed up for some reason.

    I suppose that the whole idea of using basic Intrepid stats would be the best and fastest idea as well.

    Nice page Mig1 and the layout came through fine on my screen.

    I guess I will just use basic Intrepid stats.

    With all the nitpicking that went on over the Intrepid is there an upated version?

    Cool

    I have the slightly modified Intrepid stats I use for the USS Blackthorne on my web site. You can find them by going here.

    Hope they help.

    Is it my browser (Netscape) or are you using stealth stats? Your page only displays the stats when select all is used.

    One thing to remember, is that that actual study model was based on a ship that was only 9 or 10 decks thick (as opposed to the 15 Voyager has). So you'd have to scale it up a bit. I also think it looks more 'movie era' than TNG era. It's more angular than the more modern ships. It actually would have made a nice Renaissance class starship, since it looks liek it would fit the early 24th century quite well.

    I always rather liked that model though, and even went to so far to 'borrow' the registration number off it for the Intrepid's NCC number. I figured since it was the reg of the original study model, it was a nice tip of the hat to use it for the class ship

    It was designed for IE, so I am not sure how it will werk on NetScrape.

    Anyways, I fixed the layout so it is back the way it was meant to be... I think...
