That may be true, but 'Massive' in FASA is probably in comparrison to a Constitution class, as the most familiar vessel to the players. So thats massive compared to a 200m (?) long vessel, not a TNG scale of over 500m...
The Constitution was 289m long in TOS and 305m long in the movies.

Out of interest what were the original size specifications?
For the Winged Defender, from memory, length was ~150m, width ~320m and height ~95m. Mass ~200,000 mt but see my other post regarding old style masses compared with canon masses.

Thanks. The question mark was because I couldn't remember the exact figure, as I am far more a TNG fan than TOS or the Movies...

So I hadn't commited as much to memory...

Crisis:

At the end of day, if it bothers you that much then just change it. It's already in the SU range for a 7 (total SU would probably drop by 80-120 due to size dependant items) & if you want it as a 6 it'll probably fit as well (160-240 drop in SU I'd guess).
It's just an imaginary object designed under one set of arbitrary rules being converted to a different, & somewhat incompatible, set of arbitrary rules.

Cool

Out of curiousity, why would the Romulans be using "Unusual" quarters. Being a mono-racial empire, you wouldn't think that they would need those... I suspect that if I use this design, I'll make those into more Luxury quarters. I'm sure these guys got used as flagships alot. Still, quite a cool design!

As some cultures have entered into the Empire with little fight, some even openly invited, and accepted "assimilation" into the Empire with open arms the Romulan Empire would still could still need special environs for some of the client races.

Just because the Romulans are known as conquerers of worlds dosen't mean some wouldn't want them around. Better to be part of the Empire and left alone as to be brutalized under others such as the Klingons.
