    Post Remora Class Escort

Can anyone tell me were to get a picture of the old Remora Class Escort from FASA's old game? This was the ship I used in many of my old groups table top games. I know, it wasn't the best ship in the game but it was fast and the power was good. I found my old write up on the ship the other day and my current TNG group wanted to use it,(you know an old vessel from the boneyards of the Federation, recommissioned to make up for losses in the Dominion War) The only problem is I don't have a picture of the ship, and everyone (even the wife, our ships Chief Medical Officer, is bugging the @##%@#$%^@@^%%%% out of me for the image of the ship) So if anyone has a picture from the old FASA books please tell me were to get it,(or e-mail it if you could to winterwolfc@aol.com). Please HELP ME SOMEONE my wife just saw the message and called the group.

Strange mine are just as old, all I have is just a little dog-earing. Well, if I can find a scanner to use, and if you'd like, I can try to get you the images.

If you could, I'ld like the names and hull numbers of the class if possible. I still think I'll use the ships to fill the mundane roles of the more updated ships( you now, sector patrol in secure space, courier duty, ect. ect.)But if you could give me some more ideas of ships to use for replacements for frontline ships, I'ld appreciate it. Plus maybe someone could answer this question? If Starfleet still uses the old Miranda Class Cruiser and Oberth Class Science Vessel, what happened to all thoughs Constitution Class Heavy Cruisers? I know the Excelsior Class, the Ambassador Class, and the Consellation Class all took her place, but what did they do with all the older ships (such has the Enterprise A)

I wish they could have come with a more flattering name...rather then a fish that hitches a ride on a shark and lets it do all the work.

Many thanks my friend!! And Phantom, the class could be named after the U.S.S. Remora SS 487. She was a submarine in WWII, and we all know that submarines were not only were used for attacking Japanesse Merchant Shipping, but also for escorting imprortant task force vessels, and for scouting ahead of the fleet in enemy waters. Even though they were not fast submerged, they ran 20-22 knots on the surface at night. They had sonar and radar (the later something the Japanesse didn't have in many ships). Now this is just a guess, but it would make some sense. Gene Roddenberry named things after WWII ships, so way wouldn't FASA. Please, if you have a different opinion post it, I would love to hear other opinions.

Your probebly right there, and I really don't blame you for not liking the name Remora. I mean who would want to be stationed on a ship who's class name stands for a lazy, good for nothing critter (is it a fish or what?), that cleans the teeth on sharks?
