What Next? -- Vote For Future SRMs

Space Stations. Definitely.

Other species' ships we can fairly easily adapt the existing SD info for. Starbases would require a lot more detail (new size and SU chart, new systems, etc).

My first choice is Starbases because it blazes new ground.

Second choice would be Miscellaneous because its a good broad choice thats useful for Alpha Quad. games.

Third would be: Civilian. I'd like stats for lots of freighters and such.

Errrr... could you explain what you mean by that? I don't follow you at all.

<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">The Spacestation book sounds like a good idea as well, but for this I would love to see a book that has less focus on the technical aspects than the usual SRMs and a bit more about life on a space station from the roleplaying perspective.</font>

As you say later, that really doesn't fit what I have in mind for an SRM. That might be appropriate for part of a DecipherTrek book, certainly, and I'll keep it in mind from that perspective. But it's not the sort of thing I want to write in my spare time. I prefer to stick with the tech details.

Easy for me: I'd go with Option #2 (SRM: Misc), and a far second vote (if possible) for Option #1: (Starbases and Space Stations).

My reason for the Misc book? It's the one who would complement better any universe: if you play campaigns similar to DS9 and TNG, you need a collection of different ships, from various factions. And I have a couple of reasons (Tholians!) similar to those (Tholians!) from Sheliak Bob (but for the Tholians!), and I think that Anarchy Bob (gimme a T! gimme an H! ) will agree with me...

I'd go the space stations to. It would be nice to see what they can do in a full glorius SD write up.

The proberly Miscellaneous or Civilian. Hard choice in my book.

Also wouldn't Ferengi and Civilians fall in to the SRM: Misc. Species?

and do the Borg really need their own book to cover all 6 ships (Cube, Tactical Cube, Sphere, Probe, Scout, and Queen's Diamond" considering a good part of their tech was covered in Space Dock?

Hello,

I think that I'm in the minority right now, but I'd like to see Starfleet Vol. 2 first. After that Starbase would be nice. A benefit to Starfleet is that the technology rules are already in place, and hopefully creating the ships themselves wouldn't take as long as creating the underlying technology explanations. Thanks Steve, for all the work that you put into the SRMs.
