I was, but in my game in 2377 they sold it and a number of other Excellsiors that survied the Dominion War to the Bajorans for their protection. So Benteen got a renamed old Ambassador

This may be wrong, but the First Contact fight went on for over an hour before Picard arrived and phasers were still causing damage. Though, as Data said, the cube maintained heavy damage to their outer hull, there's still a lot to punch through to destroy the cube, and if 120+ Starfleet ships couldn't do that, your crew better come up with one gooooood plan. (the reason the cube in First Contact was destroyed was that the collective told Picard where to shoot, because that gave them a reason to jettison the sphere halfway un-noticably to go back in time and... you know the rest.)

P.S.- don't quote me, this may all be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it's not . By the way, sorry for rambling.

In the end with two waves of 60+ Federation ships they were able to destory the cube, but that happened off to the side as the players fought to get their ship back online ad collapse the transwarp conduit before 12 more cubes arrived on the scene, and fought a boarding action against the BORg as well. It was only the arrival of the Enterprise and Captain Picard that saved the day for the fleet....but over 25 ships were destroyed

Okay I hate to do this, but

    Space Cruiser Yamato!!!

    "Ready The Wave Motion Gun"
    "WE ARE THE BORG"
    "Recoil Shot set"
    "RESISTANCE IS USELESS"
    "FIRE....."

    Nuff said about Borg Cube.

My apologies for going off track , but that Idea has been kicking around in my head for a while.

Tell ya what, since I ran this adventure about 3 weeks ago, I will gladly have him make an appearance somewhere down the road

Hm... as I may FINALLY get my players back together, and since none of them visits here (AFAIK)... Just for fun, I'll let these little tidbits of potential dialog I have planned for an upcoming adventure slip...

"You put your nanoprobes into the WRONG boy, Queenie..."

"Lieutenant, what the Hell are you DOING?!??"

"The Hive Mind is a matter of WILL, Captain..."

    "I think... HE'S assimilating THEM..."
