Post Thrillseeker Disad from DWS

Steve
In your fighter pilot overlay it has the disadvantage of Thrillseeker -1 but no discription. Please could you tell me what it should be?

Another point, If I may. The Fighter Pilot overlay seems to have missed off the energy weapons (Phaser) from the sheet. I thought all Starfleet personnel were trained how to shoot. Is this a typo or on purpose.

Thanks

I'm away from home at DragonCon right now, but I'll try to answer your questions next week after I return.

If you don't hear from me within a week or so, post again to attract my attention, or e-mail me a reminder.

Thrill Seeker -1 is a disadvantage from the Raiders, Renegades & Rogues book.

I'll leave it up to Mr.Long to go any further as it's copywritten material.

Well, the Thrillseeker question has been taken care of, and now that I'm home, I can tackle the other one. To wit:

Another point, If I may. The Fighter Pilot overlay seems to have missed off the energy weapons (Phaser) from the sheet. I thought all Starfleet personnel were trained how to shoot. Is this a typo or on purpose.
Technically, yes, all Starfleet officers are taught how to shoot phasers. However, there are only so many points to go around when designing an Overlay, and for the Fighter Pilot, I used 'em all up on Skills I considered more crucial to that particular profession. If you prefer to have Energy Weapons listed as an Overlay Skill for the Combat Pilot, replace Dodge, or reduce Sys Engineering or Vehicle Ops to 1 (2) and add Energy Weapon.

"Busman's holiday" -- now there's a phrase I haven't heard in a while.

Busmen's holidays are fun, but they would be even better if I got to drive the bus....

P.S.: Of course, first I would have to build the bus using Spacedock rules.

Ahh, and that would be the famous British kind of humour.

Admirable how you make your own folly the measure for other peoples common sense. Now that's what I call a real talent for self-deception!

(And yes, some Germans even have a rather dry and sarcastic sense of humor.)
