    Thetas

The destruction of the Thetas was mostly to blame on bad command decisions.

If you want weak we were taking out Starfleet Fighters two at a time.

Is anyone going to rescue Seylar, or should I write the rescue myself?

Talking Not here to refight old battles

I have to admit, you did a good job on the fighters with that torpedo tactic.

I think we're going to be picking up survivors for a while, scattered as you are through the asteroid belt. But I think we'll leave your fate to Robbert. We are out there, but I think its up to him (and you of course) on where you end up.

    Them fighting words! :D

So just how many Romulan companions will I have here?

So as to avenge all my fallen comrades in valiant battle against the ruthless Federation.

We don't sneak round, we await tactical superiority by gaining the best advantage

And wellington boots? All the better to wade through the blood of our federation foes.

    Cool Romulan Survivors

According to my notes, there are 57 surviving Romulans in 25 escape pods, among them, apparently, Commander Seylar. There was an away team on the planet making contact with the lost colonists there and there was a small team in a shuttle investigating that planet's moon when all contact was lost and extremely intense readings of anti-protons showed up on the sensors.

Other than these, I guess the rest of the Romulans are with YOU Sir Sig!

    Talking Commander Seylar

I'm sure Pesterfield will post here shortly, but basically there's just you and him, so far. Seylar was a canny foe who attempted treachery on the Vanguard by planting a plasma mine in a case of Romulan Ale and offering to us in a gesture of peace. She also managed to get rid of a rather stupid deck officer at the same time. Smart lady... I think we'd better try to pick her up

    >Rank: Still waiting for feedback from Robbert on that one

Would Seylar really let herself be rescued by Starfleet? The very officers who defeated her? It's up to you, Pesterfield.

    Will Seylar be rescued.

She rather dislikes Starfleet at the moment for destroying her command, but she's not stupid and doesn't want to sit in an escape pod until a Romulan ship arrives.

I'll leave the rescue to a Starfleet post, make it soon.

Cool Data about the Star System

This is information originally given out during the first engagement:

Planet 3 (the colonists refer to it as 'Farhome') has two moons. The smaller moon is the one the Romulan team had been investigating.

Centurion Pro'Vost last reported from the surface of Farhome where his team had been welcomed like long-lost brothers by the citizens of the largest city-state on the planet.

He reported that these people had witnessed a cube-shaped object in the sky attacking the lesser moon (called Deatheye) only to have an intense blue line of light come into being between the cube and Deatheye with the cube exploding immediately.

The people of Farhome number at least 10 million and have an early industrial civilization. They are divided up into several separate city-states that appear to be in a continuous state of war with each other.

Centurion Pro'Vost has contacted the city-state of Randabad. He and his team of 6 Romulans have been feted like conquering heroes. He has recieved no messages from RSN Star Runner since the sky was seared by the intense light of the battle's end.

    Cool Rescue!?

Starfleet shuttlecraft are moving through the asteroid belt, beaming Romulan survivors from their escape pods directly aboard. There the Romulans are tricorder-scanned to relieve them of weapons, and given basic medical treatment if necessary. Each shuttlecraft has a pilot and 1 or 2 Security Guards or Rapid Response Team members. The shuttlecraft return to Vanguard when they've picked up at least 5 survivors.

So far, no senior Romulan officers have been retrieved.

Was that a pun, good sir?

Or can I have self replicating Theta's???????? Just like Voyager and her neverending supply of shuttles.

Seriously though is 4 of them cool with everyone. I have 40 su for shuttlecraft and 4 Theta's would only take 12 of that.

No, I was nit-picking your spelling

But I think you'll need to justify having twice as much Theta's (unless there are two cloaked Theta's still in the system Bwuhahaa!)
