    Thumbs up Let's play

I'd love to be the CO again, and that would be a great honor to have you in our team, Scott! Welcome aboard XO! My guess is that we'll have a meeting soon in the ready room.

James will play Lipumano again, as far as I know. With both of you ready and motivated, I can see very good roleplaying on the horizon.

    Peace!

Well CMDR I am the one who played the CAG last time around, if we are picking it up where we left off, don't you think we should all assume our old post? I think so. For all of us now how to play those characters already, skill, personalities, etc. This provides continuality and the fluid change over from you being the Narrator to Raets becoming the new Narrator.

Hmmm . . . Paramount . . . I think we could be a great addition to the UPN line up, I mean really now. Buffy? She did DIE for a reason on the WB . . .

Plus it's not like she's ALREADY typecasted

Last I checked my character was in the Onizuka (Type 7 Federation Shuttle w/ the optional type IV phaser bank) along with LT ?(whatever his name was, the CSO; Andorian) and two security personnel. We are presently being escorted by one of the Fed Fighters, Intruder (I named this in honor of the A-6), and currently outward(System wise), within the Astroid Belt, of the USS Vanguard.

It's the 222nd Air Wing, 442nd Fighter GRP that I'm the CAG of.

God, I can't wait. As if that hasn't been aparrant.

    JALU3:
I wasn't aware that you were 2 months from the next Starfleet ship.
Still, bringing in a new ship sounds like a good idea to me nonetheless for three reasons:
    • Vanguard is IMHO not in the shape to take up Romulan reinforcements alone, even if she seems to be a pretty tough ship.
    • There seems to be a lot of exploring to do in this star system and it could be interesting to compare Spacedock ships and their capabilities outside of combat.
    • Could be a nice way to introduce new characters to the setting. If CptCraig wants to play one of Vanguard's fighter pilots I would settle for a post aboard the Vanguard, but if others want to join as well integrating them into the ongoing storry that way could be worth a thought.

And hey, I didn't want to step on anybodys toes. I was just taken by the idea to play my regular character in the position she is aiming for, without waiting 5 years of 'at the table' gametime for it.

    Pesterfield:
Opening credits could be more like B5, than standard ST style. Quick cuts between characters and scenes of the ship. Some shots of fighters launching and/or swooping over the saucer of the Vanguard would be nice.
For a title theme we could steal the theme from the movie "Armageddon" until we come up with something better.

Okay, here's what we'll do: Everybody sends their char. name, desired position aboard the Vanguard or Star Runner's sister ship, previous position (if aplicable), mother's maiden name, social security number and desires for the future to:

    Question Questions

Star Runner's sister ship??? ... oh no... another D'deridex.... At least isn't a Task Force of them

My caracther will be emailed soon. I'm basing him on a NPC I've created for my own campaign (Capt. William McAllister from USS Endeavor). His stats are too high, so I'm lowering them all for the game balance sake.

Just a silly question: if my caracther is gonna be the captain, will I be restricted to the Icon rules regarding PC creation? If so, I'll have to reduce considerably all his stats.

    See ya

    yay!

It's good to see that the ball has started rolling into the slot I was hoping for.

Another D'deridex!! JC! (OK people the nearest is ten days, CAPT, orders. Air Wing, Recover and repair, do the best you can. Time is against us.)

    Narrator Raets,
I shall be sending you the email list of all the FMR Vanguard crew, I still have it saved. Furthermore, I shall send you the hex map of Turn 11 (The last turn to take place in the simulation). I hope both of these will help you considereably.
As for my character, I did do a write up of my character with background information for the simulation and submitted it to CMDR Powers, however I will send you a copy of it myself.

What about the newbs? The Current Roms, do they retain their old character?

    Godspeed.

    SA&B

I see someone has watched Space Above & Beyond. I really liked that show . . . to bad it got cancelled.

THNK CMDR Powers here for the name . . . it was his idea. I wanted it to be 442nd . . . however now that is the Designation of the Fighter Squadron.

Here is a list of the fighters and their Current Status:

Alpha Wing: Sidewinder (Recoverable (Computer Core, & Crew Dead; basically the frame and some of the systems remain)), Sparrow (Lost), Phoenix (Lost)

    Bravo Wing: Stellar Knight, Paladin

Charlie Wing: Intruder (Damaged), Viking (Lost), Hornet (Lost)

    Delta Wing: Eagle, Falcon, Phantom

CAG's Personnal Fighter: Trident (Ready for Launch)

    Cool 222nd

Yeah, we even have a squadron patch! Let me see about uploading it soon...

That's 222nd Air Wing? Hell's Angel from the old Flying Tigers AVG on a circle with Starfleet emblem behind and to the left.

Let's make that 222nd Attack Fighter Wing rather than Air Wing, okay?
