I believe Cpt is a valid rank for standard members.

    All the Moderators are Commodores.

You can access that data eg. from the members list when you click on a members name to check his profile.

With my average posts per day under 1.0 it will take me over a year to get up to Lt. again.

Wait a minute; I can see the pattern now:

    0 Cadet
    100 Ensign
    200 Lt.jg.
    500 Lt.
    1000 Lt.Cmdr.
    2000 Cmdr.
    5000 Cpt.

If even the good Sir Postalot would have trouble reaching Captain it surely can't be anything less than 5000.

Looks spot compared to the list I saw.

I would have been a Commander for at least a year

Hey, shouldn't that rank be Rear Admiral, Lower Half instead of Commodore?

Of cource, that begs the question, Lower Half of what?

As usual, the proud ranks of the NCOs and POs are ignored. No respect for the people who get their hands dirty and work for a living. All you fancy officers would be up the nebula without a thruster if it weren't for Chief O'Brian, Chief Kyle, and me, etc etc (continue moaning and commisserating ad nausuem)

OK, I admit I'm just posting to see my new rank.

1.33 posts per day, 14th place in number of posts. Not too shabby.

    Talking Poor Sarge

Hey, everyone. Let's help Sarge here.

All those in favor of giving Sarge the permanent rank of ... Crewman ... say "aye."

    Aye!

BTW, why is Steve Long have been demoted two steps down from Admiral to Rear Admiral?

There's no sergeant rank title in the naval-inspired Starfleet. And so far the franchise have yet to officially introduce a Starfleet marine corps.

Yup, you're right, but the DWS introduced us to Starfleet Ground Forces and AFAIR there were only officer ranks (eg. Colonel, Major or General) listed in the book. Sergeant could well be an enlisted rank in the Ground Forces.

    CREWMAN???!!!!

REG, Cochrane, here's a little friendly advice. NEVER pick on an NCO. We have ways of getting back at officers. And we know just how to do it so we'll never get caught. :P
