Thumbs up WTC's Old Glory Now In The Gulf

As perhaps another omen of an "imminent" attack against the Al Qaeda terrorist groups in Afghanistan the same Star Spangled Banner that was hoisted above the ruins of the WTC by firemen, in the now famous photo reminescent of the victorious marines at Iwo Jima in WWII, was reported by NBC news to now be flying on the mast of the USS Theodore Roosevelt. Perhaps a hint that
the first shot fired in the war versus the terrorists will be launced from big Ted to avenge September 11, 2001.

Arrow With All Due Respect to WTC's Old Glory...

Please ... let's not go back to the failed Clinton missile tactics again.

I'm going to pray and support and cheer that the ground troops will handle the job much more efficiently than a missile.

    What We Oughta Do

When (not if, dammit, WHEN) we rebuild the towers, we ought to make the biggest US flag since Betsy Ross first stitched stars and stripes together - I'm talking so big Texans will say "Hey, that's a BIG ol' flag" - hoist it on top of the towers, and never take it down until it needs to be repaired or replaced, then put up another one just as big, and keep one up there forever as a memorial. The old worn out flags should be auctioned off and the proceeds go to the victims' families.

I don't mean to sound like Elijah but...

...it will come. We're doing this right. We're taking time to gather as much intel as we can. We're setting the board up for a long term fight. We're keeping to the shadows as much as possible on this one. It will come. The Taliban will fall, Osama will be removed from Afghanistan (probably feet first), and we won't stop with Al-Qaeda. Hang in there. This is not going to be a short one.

    Arrow Young Pups Nowadays...

They're always in a hurry to fix thing. A cancer like this is not going to go away overnight. It takes time. Even if we remove the infectious tumor, we must keep vigilant.

And yes, our government must get the backing of the majority of the international Muslim community, whether you like it or not. Even in desolate areas where Bin Laden was able to spread his charity and generosity that makes him a philanthropic hero, they must be aware that their "savior" is nothing more than a wolf in sheep's clothing.

You have to admit, he is clever. While he makes enemy of the West, he continues to shower his people with his charity (opening new orphanages and schools ... for both boys and girls). It must be especially hard for the people working at these institution to accept his fund only to find out he is a killer and his money is the blood of innocents, especially when you are blind to the truth, either by choice (denial) or by top-level government and clerical officials (who handles incoming media and information).

And to this day, I am trying to find out how the hell they were able to corrupt the Holy Words of the Koran. Then again, as a Christian (a lapse Catholic to be precise), I am confounded by people who follow the Word of the Bible and yet find comfort in Hate. As if they have the arrogance to say that their "tribe" is God's Chosen Ones.
