    The Enterprise NX-01

Yes, I know somebody else has probably posted a thread exactly like this before...

My campaign with my solo player is going well. But I have another friend who wants to play the game but would prefer to have his own campaign rather than join my existing one- I am perfectly willing to run two series at once, I have a lot of spare time.

I am considering running the series on the Enteprise NX-01, and the player is a junior officer.

I need to come up with stats for the ship. Has anyone written their own stats for it up, or have any suggestions regarding how to go about creating the ship?

Since you have all this time, come do my homework!
I think solo's are great. All my characters start out with a few soloadventures to give them a feel of their charcter. It helps develop them so that when they go into a group they have some thing to work with.
    BUT
I think that role-playing is often a dangerouse sport. As with baseball and basket ball if you play you might get hurt. Likewise RPG's have forms of injury, and like the nature of the game they are noncoporeal. The original idea behind a game is for social interaction and competitive excellence. An RPG with two people, a GM and a Player soon degrades into something less than that. It eliminates the social interactions, and the competition is one sided, as the GM has all the dice. By bringing in multipule players the GM becomes less of the Universe and more of a judge. Solos are good but often can lead to or are a result of anti social habits.
I say put the two together and play a few games. I will bet that the three of you will have one heck of a good time. If I'm wrong go back to solo adventures. If you don't want to contaminate you original characters roll up a few new ones and just play a few games.

The above statement is only an opinion...it has no basis in science, as there have been no real studies on RPGS and the affects on the teen-age mind. Those of you who are incited to agressive feelings by the above calm down and remember Surak and IDIC. Those of you who agree with me, don't forget I think I am the Thundergod and you might not want to be associated with people that think themselves immortal and whatnot.
